Askeaton Pool & Leisure are delighted to announce a trial period of extended gym opening hours
We are open till 10pm Monday & Wednesdays 
and early opening from 9am on Saturday & Sundays 
This is a for a trial period and continuation of these hours will be based on usage figures 
​Looking forward to seeing you all in the gym later and earlier in the coming months 

Introducing our newest programme here at Askeaton Pool and Leisure 
This is our entry level 
The programme is designed to help you achieve a balance between work, family and health by introducing accountability and goals to your fitness regime 
All classes will be tracked using the latest Polar Heart Rate monitors giving you real time instant feedback on your effort level and performance  
Your fitness will be measured and the programme will be planned with stepped progressions to establish the fundamentals of training giving you a good foundation for your lifelong fitness journey 
You can be a beginner, or someone who exercises occasionally, you could be returning to exercise after a long hiatus or someone who comes to the gym regularly but you don't feel confident in what to do or else you may feel like you need to change our current training regime up
Is this you or do you know someone who this would be ideal for?
if so then spaces are available through an interview process only 
You must be available every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at either 10.30am for the morning classes or 8pm for the evening classes 
​Classes start Monday 1st  of October 
Unfortunately due to space limitations swapping between evening and morning classes is not possible 
Cost of Course is only €60 for members and Only €120 for non members. Non member price included full unlimited access to the gym for the 6 weeks of the course

Every year Ireland Active in association with Fitness facilities across Ireland try to encourage people to become more active by offering free fitness activities
Askeaton Pool & Leisure are opening up both the gym and pool for FREE for 4 hours on Thursday 
FREE ENTRY TO GYM & POOL 
9am-10am
11am-12pm
6pm-7pm
8pm-9pm
Just tell the receptionist that you are here for National Fitness Day to gain free entry
Normal pool ratios and age limits for gym applies
